The Micro Wedding Elopement Trend
Elopements are a common wedding alternative now. Smaller, more intimate weddings, that include only immediate family and friends are becoming the norm. Out of town, destination brides, that waited through the pandemic to get married are now saying “I do” on the beaches of Florida. Weddings are becoming smaller and being referred to as micro weddings. We have photographed quite a few of these weddings since the reopening of the beaches in 2021.
Bilmar Beach Wedding
This bride and groom opted for a special date/mid week wedding. We covered only the Ceremony and formals while the couple opted for a small non formal dinner with their guests at a local hotel resort. It was still a truly beautiful event.
