A Top Ten Couple
Details
I am going to begin this blog post by telling you how amazingly wonderful this couple is. They booked me out nearly two years before their wedding. If it wasn’t two years it was pretty close to it. These two have been together for a really long time and wanted their wedding to be everything they dreamed. So they set a date far enough out that they could do everything they wanted. Custom Vow books, wonderful invitations and personal details were a great touch for these two. Hexagon arches are all the rave and I think they really pulled theirs off wonderfully. Beach weddings typically have very simple centerpieces containing a bit of sand and a bit of shells. These two went for a more fuller affect and it really gave it the elegant touch every beach wedding needs.
Getting Ready/First Look
I always think it’s great when a bride does a first look with their dad. It’s a really great daddy’s little girl moment. It’s even more wonderful when the bride has an amazing relationship with their Birth dad and their dad. Doing two separate dad first looks is a great way to make everyone feel their importance in the day. Such an emotional moment for all parties! Bride and groom opted for a first look together followed by reading their vows to each other. It’s a great personal touch and something I would recommend for those who have a fear of speaking in front of their guests. It’s an added bonus to an already personal moment between bride and groom
Ceremony
Personal touches are what makes a ceremony unique. The Grooms mother sung during the ceremony, an added personal touch for both the bride and groom.
Formals
The Ceremony started a little earlier than what would be the ideal lighting situation for photos. The suggestion was made tho do a sunset pull for couples portraits as it would be the most ideal lighting. I am so glad the couple opted for this route. The sunset was amazing that evening and more then we could have ever asked for.
Reception
Toasts and first dances came later in the evening. Once these formalities were complete the couple mingled and danced the evening away with their guests. While packing up the groom asked a favor for the bride. The bride wanted a photo with her mother looking up at the stars in the sky. By far this is one of my most favorite images to date because of the meaning behind it. It was a marvelous wedding with some truly great people and their wonderful families.
