Capturing details and emotions on a wedding day are big parts of a wedding photographer’s day. And Jackie and Matt’s Tampa wedding was filled with details and emotions for our Kristen Marie Photography team to document.
They are an adorable couple who love to laugh and are so much fun to be around.
Getting Ready
Jackie, Matt, and their wedding parties spent the morning getting ready in separate locations. Jackie looked incredible in her soft, off-the-shoulder wedding gown with lace details. It worked perfectly with her loose bridal bouquet with lots of greenery and white and burgundy flowers.
Matt and the guys looked handsome in their navy blue suits with maroon bow ties. His boutonniere had tiny little details that connected it to all of the flowers in Jackie’s bouquet.
First Looks
Before heading off to the University of Tampa for her first look with Matt, Jackie took some time for a few private moments with her father.
We love the series of photos of the couple’s first look on the porch at the University of Tampa. It was one part look of anticipation and one part nervous giggle.
Portraits at the University of Tampa
After Jackie and Matt’s first look, their wedding parties joined them for some group photos. They also spent time together, allowing us to capture some beautiful portraits.
An Evening at the Rialto
Tampa’s Rialto Theatre was set for the couple’s beautiful wedding ceremony. The industrial grid with lots of greenery and pops of colorful flowers created a stunning backdrop. There were also adorable lanterns with greenery lining the aisle.
Jackie looked beautiful as she made her way down the aisle on her father’s arm.
Surrounded by family and friends, the couple exchanged wedding vows before heading off for family photos and cocktail hour.
A Magical Transformation
Props to the wedding planning and design team who, when we were shooting family photos, and guests enjoyed cocktail hour, transformed the room from a wedding ceremony to the newlywed’s fantastic wedding reception.
A long wooden table filled the middle of the room, surrounded by round tables. The table runners, greenery, and white and maroon flowers added some softness to the industrial vibe.
We love how the ceremony backdrop was changed up to make a backdrop for the newlywed’s wedding cake and dessert buffet.
The bride and groom made their entrance and headed straight to the dance floor for their first dance to “XO” by John Mayer.
Jackie and Matt had a fantastic night with their guests. It was filled with sweet toasts, delicious food, lots of dancing, wrapped up with the couple’s yummy wedding cake!
Congratulations, Jackie and Matt!
