Julia and Dominick’s wedding at a private Clearwater home was incredible for our Kristen Mari Photography team. Not only was it a beautiful wedding filled with touching moments. But we had already met the groom, Dominick, while photographing his friend’s wedding.
A Little About Julia
Julia looked so beautiful. She chose an incredible sheer lace wedding gown with floral appliques. It was soft and flowing. And who doesn’t love a pair of outrageous Christian Louboutin spiked white wedding shoes?
One of our favorite details was her spectacular bridal bouquet. From the shades of pink with pops of color and lots of texture, it was breathtaking. The bouquet also had one very special addition—a photo locket with a picture of her father, who had recently passed away.
Here’s Dominick!
As we said, we met Dominick photographing the wedding of a good friend. He looked incredible in his perfectly tailored suit, and we loved the bow tie with tiny flecks of color. Another unique detail not everyone saw was the custom monogrammed suspenders under the jacket because it’s the little things that matter!
A Few Firsts
Julia and Dominick chose not to see each other before their wedding ceremony. But, there were are few other first looks that had to be captured. But, there was something special about the look on her bridal party’s faces as she made her way downstairs for one more special first look.
Julia and her step-father are very close, and their first look was just one of the incredible moments between the two of them.
Here Comes The Bride
Outside, the final details were coming together for the couple’s wedding ceremony. The ceremony was set underneath a huge tree. The floral pieces popped against the natural landscape. We especially loved the strands of flowers cascading from the tree.
Another very personal touch was the seat that was reserved in memory of Julia’s father.
There is no way we could skip over the photo of these cuties – the flower girls and junior bridesmaids nearly stole the show.
The bride made her entrance escorted by her step-father, followed by the couple exchanging rings and wedding vows under the tree.
Additionally, just before the end of the wedding ceremony, the couple incorporated an adorable moment. They include the bride’s daughter in the ceremony. Together they designed a piece of modern art, where the three created a golden ring on the blue background.
It Was Time To Party
The outdoor, tented wedding was gorgeous. With gold and touches of greenery, soft tones of champagne were so pretty—a great mix of Boho and elegance.
The balloon structure behind the sweetheart table was unique and made an incredible backdrop for photos to come.
Julia and Dominick began the reception with their first dance, followed by a prayer by the bride and a toast by her step-father.
Julia’s touching dance with her brother brought everyone to tears. It ended in a dance with her entire family.
The reception was filled with delicious food and a packed dance floor wrapped up with the newlyweds cutting this adorable wedding cake served with sweet treats and some Chic-fil-a as a late-night treat.
Congratulations, Julia and Dominick! We wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
