Cypress Point Park Family Session | Tampa Family Photographer

There is never a dull moment when photographing families, and this fun-filled session at Cypress Point Park was no exception!

Located right on the shores of Tampa Bay, Cypress Point Park is one of my favorite locations for family photography in Tampa. Between the sandy beach, beautiful waterfront views, swaying palm trees, and stunning sunsets, it’s the perfect place for families to relax, play, and make memories together.

From the moment we started, the kids were ready for adventure! We spent the evening exploring the shoreline, running through the sand, and capturing plenty of genuine smiles along the way. Some of my favorite images came from the in-between moments—the giggles, the hugs, and the spontaneous laughter that perfectly captured this family’s personality.

One of the things I love most about Cypress Point Park family sessions is how naturally families interact here. Kids can be kids, parents can enjoy the moment, and everyone gets to focus on having fun rather than worrying about posing.

As the sun began to set over Tampa Bay, we were treated to the most beautiful golden light. The combination of the colorful sky and waterfront scenery created the perfect backdrop for timeless family portraits.

Family sessions like this are a reminder that the best photographs often come from simply enjoying time together. It was such a joy capturing these memories, and I know they’ll treasure these images for years to come.
