Some wedding days are beautiful, some are emotional, and some are an absolute party from start to finish. This incredible same-sex wedding at NOVA 535 in downtown St. Petersburg was all three!
As a St. Petersburg wedding photographer, NOVA 535 is always one of my favorite venues to photograph. The combination of historic brick walls, industrial architecture, romantic courtyard spaces, and downtown charm creates the perfect setting for couples who want a wedding that’s both elegant and fun.
From the moment the day began, the excitement was impossible to miss. Friends and family traveled from near and far to celebrate these two amazing people and the love story they had built together. The energy throughout the venue was filled with laughter, happy tears, and anticipation for the ceremony.
One of my favorite moments was watching the couple see each other before walking down the aisle. The smiles, excitement, and genuine joy on their faces perfectly captured what the entire day was about—celebrating a love that was uniquely theirs.
The ceremony took place in NOVA 535’s beautiful courtyard surrounded by family and friends. As the couple exchanged vows, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. It was heartfelt, meaningful, and a wonderful reflection of their journey together.
Afterward, we explored the venue for portraits. One of the reasons I love photographing NOVA 535 weddings is that every corner offers a stunning backdrop. From the exposed brick walls and dramatic doorways to the romantic courtyard lighting, the venue creates endless opportunities for timeless wedding photographs.
Once the reception started, the celebration kicked into high gear! The dance floor stayed packed all night, guests cheered during every special moment, and the newlyweds were surrounded by so much love and support. These are the kinds of weddings photographers dream about—authentic, joyful, and filled with unforgettable memories.
