From festive décor and twinkling lights to touches of holiday charm throughout the venue, this February wedding felt like a cozy Christmas celebration in the heart of Florida.

As a wedding photographer, I love when couples make their wedding day uniquely theirs, and this couple fully embraced their vision. The rustic barn was beautifully decorated with holiday-inspired details, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that had guests smiling from the moment they arrived.

The ceremony took place beneath the beautiful oak trees and open skies that make Florida Rustic Barn Weddings such a popular wedding venue. Surrounded by family, friends, and gorgeous countryside views, the couple exchanged heartfelt vows before celebrating as newlyweds.

Of course, no wedding day is complete without a few surprises!

As the sun began to set and we headed out for golden-hour portraits, a pair of curious donkeys decided they wanted to join the celebration. What started as a few quick photos turned into one of the most memorable moments of the day. The newlyweds couldn’t stop laughing as their unexpected four-legged guests happily posed for pictures. As a photographer, these spontaneous moments are often my favorites because they’re completely genuine and impossible to recreate.

The evening continued inside the barn with heartfelt speeches, lots of dancing, and a packed dance floor. Between the Christmas-inspired details, beautiful rustic setting, and surprise donkey photo session, this wedding was one that guests—and this photographer—won’t soon forget.
