Embassy Suites Downtown Tampa Elegant Wedding
A Downtown Tampa Wedding Event | Featuring Embassy Suites Downtown and The Godfrey Hotel And Cabana
Details
The Bride and Groom, Family and Friends, are all from out of town. The only family member in town was dad. The Bride shipped in all of her details prior to the big day to make sure everything was perfect. From the brides beautiful Betsey Johnson Bridal shoes to the blinged out garter.
Getting Ready
The Bride and grooms wedding day started very early in the morning. The brides mother is in a care facility for health reason and that’s why the couple opted for a Florida destination wedding. They scheduled their day around visiting mom before the ceremony. So a first look was part of their day with both dad and the brides hubby to be
The First Look
Embassy suites downtown Tampa is right in the center of everything downtown. Embassy suites has so many options when it comes to the perfect first look. At the front of the building, a large beautiful fountain sits. During the shaded part of the day the fountain really shines for a first look. During the first look we also accomplished some great couples portraits so they had to spend less time of couples portraits later on.
The Wedding Party
Every part of this wedding party including the pup were about having fun. We crossed the road between two parking garages and really took advantage of the Tampa Backdrop. You would never guess this is between two garages for Amalie Arena home of the Tampa Bay Lightning. It made for a great spot for Wedding party photos as well as Wedding couples portraits in downtown Tampa.
Couples Formals
You can’t mess up with getting married in downtown Tampa. There are just so many different areas you can do formals and still stick to the feel of your wedding theme. From the fountain in front of Embassy suites to the Ally across the road the possibilities for couples formals were endless. We even had a wonderful little squirrel friend stop by for photos as well!
The Ceremony
The Godfrey Hotel and Cabanas is a great Wedding location. During the ceremony the couple did a wine mixing instead of a sand ceremony. Because the couple had done most of their couples photos prior to the ceremony and wanting to get back over to embassy suites for their reception they opted for a few couples photos BUT one great addition was popping the bubbly with their entire wedding party.
The Reception
Take a look at that cake! Macaroons instead of a full tiered cake was a great little touch! Simple elegant centerpieces on each table tied in the couples theme with their photos on each numbered table. Traditional dances between the couple and parents were included and then the couple danced the night away with their family and friends from all over the country
