Downtown St. Pete Engagement Session – Art, Architecture & Waterfront Romance
Looking for an engagement session that blends culture, historic charm, and waterfront views? This downtown St. Petersburg engagement session absolutely delivered — and it’s the kind of shoot you’ll want to bookmark!
We kicked things off at the Museum of Fine Arts, using the clean lines and beautiful façade as a striking backdrop. The couple warmed up among the sculptures and big open spaces, and their energy was infectious.
Next: a stroll through Straub Park for playful golden-hour moments under the palm trees. From there, we moved to Vinoy Park, with its sweeping lawns and skyline-peeking views — a perfect mix of romantic and relaxed.
The session reached its peak at the iconic Vinoy Hotel. The bride is a huge fan of its classic architecture and Mediterranean vibe, so we captured several shots on the grand steps, by the ornate windows, and against the hotel’s elegant columns. Those details brought a ton of character to their photos!
We wrapped up with waterfront portraits as the sun dipped low over Tampa Bay — soft reflections, hand-in-hand poses, and that dreamy sky lighting up the scene.
