Downtown Waterfront Clermont

What a pleasant surprise downtown Clermont turned out to be. This couple is getting married on Treasure Island next year, but have a connection to downtown Clermont and they wanted to use it for their engagement session. I have personally, never been to downtown Clermont. I did my research and got some ideas together. When I arrived I was in love. The location for such a small area was a pleather of photo opportunities. The couples started out with a champagne toast and just smoothed on into their session.

Two rules for engagement sessions- Dress in something you are comfortable in and be you. I like to tell couples while I will pose you in a pleasing manner I want you to feel comfortable enough to interact with each other. True emotion shows with total interaction. 14 years of shooting weddings I can’t hear you whispering to each other and if whispering sweet nothing gets natural smiles and eases you into interactions then please DO IT!

Connect with your location…

If you have a connection to a location and it’s a location you frequent as a couple you are more comfortable. This shows in your images. Not all couples have a spot but if you do please by all means use that spot and run with it. Your images will be that much more meaningful to you.
