A Treasure Island Beach Wedding
The Bilmar Beach Resort Beach Wedding
Details
The Brides family has a home on Treasure Island. When we arrived we learned the bride had a lot of personal little touches in remembrance of her grandfather. The couple are also avid bicyclists so it was only proper that many of the details revolved around their love of biking. From the invitations to the ceremony “arch”
Getting Ready
When family has a home already close to the wedding location it makes the getting ready portion a super easy transition. The Bride wanted a super simple and easy wedding day so this really helped with the flow. The groom got ready in the suite at Bilmar beach resort.
Ceremony
Fact: We were not the original photographers for this event. Our couple was married on one of the busiest wedding weekends in October. We were honored to be selected by this couple to capture their day. They opted for a more personal approach to a wedding arch. They married in front of a decorated bicycle. It was important for the bride to have her dad walk her down the aisle in uniform. It was a hot day, he was such a trooper. The couple wanted all of their guests to feel like it was a party and have a great time. Instead of opting for a sand ceremony they toasted some drinks on the beach during ceremony. It’s all about personal touches!
Couples Formals
The weather was amazing for their wedding and the sunset was radiant. Beaches sunsets are some of the most beautiful.
