You know it’s going to be a good shoot when your couple tells you they want cocktails, cozy vibes, and a little old-school glam for their engagement session — and that’s exactly what we got at Sonder Social Club in beautiful downtown Dunedin, Florida!

As a Tampa wedding photographer, I’ve shot in all sorts of locations – dreamy beaches, open fields, rooftops, you name it – but this was something totally different… and I’m officially obsessed.

A Hidden Gem with Vintage Vibes

Sonder Social Club isn’t just a bar – it’s an experience. With moody lighting, velvet seating, a killer cocktail list, and art-deco details around every corner, it was like walking onto the set of a retro movie. This place oozes charm and was the perfect backdrop for a couple who wanted something bold, intimate, and a little bit extra.

From the first clink of their glasses to the last spin on the checkered floor, every moment was magic.

One of my favorite parts of being a Florida engagement photographer is capturing those real, unscripted moments – the way he looks at her when she laughs, or the way she gently fixes his collar mid-pose. This session had all of that and more.
