Location

  Engagement sessions are all about location. A quiet little spot where you can enjoy your session and really get comfortable in front of the camera. Philippe Park is nestled within Safety Harbor. At this location you have both a park as well as a waterfront view. With this large area of park you have so many options for photos while still being able to avoid the large groups. This is a photographer hot spot so while it is one of our favorite parks I highly recommend sticking to it Monday-Wednesday. 

Bringing The Kids

Bring the kids! and the dog! When bringing children, if they are small have a friend tag along so that you can also focus on your time together for the session. With this being Florida the weather can be unpredictably hot and little ones don’t particularly enjoy it for long periods. Someone who can take your little one to the car and run the A/C for a few minutes gives you some alone time to get in those fun focused photos where you are able to pay attention to just each other and the moment. 

Bring an Extra shirt

If you know you are a sweater bring an extra shirt. Something you would be comfortable taking additional photos in. While editing is something we can do if you are a heavy sweater you may be more comfortable in a new shirt. Lighter colors show the sweat less and may be something to consider.
